Summary: This position is responsible for setting CAD / drafting standards, giving direction on drawing creation by outside consulting firms, and creating, updating, and checking of Engineering drawings generated within IGTS. Also responsible for the document management for both the physical and electronic CAD / drafting files, including naming conventions, revision control etc., as well as the future development of the drafting team. Other areas of responsibility and/or member of project teams include:Equipment standards and hierarchy for the IGTS CMMS program;Standardization of IGTS parts within JDE;Records and Information Management (RIM) company team supporting Engineering Services, Field Operations and Environmental Health and Safety departments. Quantitative:Responsible for multiple, individual capital projects up to $500,000Responsible for the administration of document management, control, and distribution of 6000+ documents.Responsible for all annually reoccurring drafting projects.Responsible for the design, usage, and future of the company’s GIS program. Knowledge:Project management and leadership, drafting and mapping skills and fluency in the use of drafting, 3d modeling, GIS and mapping software, drafting standards creation and maintenance, document management and control. Skilled in computer aided drafting systems.Practical design knowledge of high pressure natural gas piping facilities preferred. Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of mapping linear assets. Experience:Bachelor degree in engineering, GIS, or equivalent experience in architectural, mechanical, electrical and mapping/drafting fields.Minimum three (3) years of experience in an engineering, utility, or project management environment.Minimum 3 yrs. of design CAD / drafting experience and experience with computer aided drafting systems Minimum 2 years experience in cartography, and GIS concepts, capabilities and its usage in gas transportation industry. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough reviews of denials and appropriately work denials with medical records and/or appeals via set protocols in a timely and professional manner.Responsibilities:Compose and submit all required documentation (including appropriate medical records to support medical necessity) for a reconsideration or appeal to an insurance carrier via payer portal fax or mail.Utilize appropriate applications to accurately track appeals to include tracking of success rates.Gather and fill out any payer specific forms and letters.Effectively manage and work to maintain timely responses to denials within specific deadlines.Establish tracking mechanism for appropriate follow-up on appeals submitted.Qualifications:Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD10 and procedural modifiersProficient with Excel, Word and OutlookStrong organization and time management skills. Performs visual inspection of parts and equipment to ensure conformance to quality standards and to identify non-conformance where it occurs. Performs all work according to engineering drawings, written work procedures, and verbal and written instructions.Uses scales, tape, calipers, micrometer, combination-square and other measuring equipment to inspect parts, equipment, and their proper installation to rail car body. Has the capability of using English and Metric systems of measurement.Records data and findings from inspections in inspection reports and related documentation with a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail. Demonstrates an excellent mechanical aptitude.The QC Inspector must be able to read and interpret all engineering drawings and blueprints and has a demonstrated proficiency in all inspection phases listed below.
