We are presently on the lookout for a dynamic professional as Manufacturing Administrator in Seymour, CT.Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:As a Manufacturing Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the manufacturing and quality functions. The Individual will manage the reporting of operational statistics gathered by manufacturing leaders and perform some high-level analysis of those results. In addition, the individual will be the chief administrator of the Talent Management System (TMS). The individual will aid in the maintenance of talent records for individuals. They will also maintain the integrity of the updated Area Work Instructions and Quality Work Instructions as managers update the documentation. Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a candidate who is highly proficient in utilizing various computer programs and possesses a strong aptitude for technology. Product weekly statistics on job completion times as compared to estimated times. Work with manufacturing managers and supervisors to understand product schedules and completion criteria. Track utilization and up-time of key hardware on the manufacturing floor. Partner with the VP of Quality to maintain the integrity of the TMS system as new processes are documented. Manage the workflow of training records which pass between individuals, managers and TMS coordinators. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new software applications, with the ability to independently navigate and utilize unfamiliar programs efficiently. They should exhibit a keen problem-solving ability, enabling them to quickly adapt to new environments and effectively troubleshoot technical challenges as they arise. Job Qualifications:High School diploma required. Associates degree or bachelor’s degree preferred. 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in manufacturing. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products including word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated communication abilities at multiple levels of the organization. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Microsoft systems experience and knowledge. Technical Experience with navigating multiple programs. They will revise existing documents as well. This job demands an extrovert with high energy, as they will be tracking down managers to verify information throughout our campus. Key Responsibilities: Under general supervision, may develop, write, and edit material for quality manual documents including Quality Operating Procedures, Quality Work Instructions, Detailed Operator Work Instructions.Under general supervision, may observe production, developmental and experimental activities to document operating procedure and detail. Under general supervision, may interview production and engineering personnel to become familiar with product technologies and production methods. Obtain illustrations using digital camera, modeling software, and illustration software. Revise existing documents to conform to engineering and process changes. Check your own and peer writer documents for accuracy and completeness. Work with proprietary enterprise data management system to publish or revise documents. We are currently seeking a Water Planning Engineer for a client in New Haven, CT. DESCRIPTION:Solves engineering-related problems; provide water resource, water quality, distribution system, and water treatment capital and maintenance planning as necessary for the efficient utilization of the companies’ resourcesImplements and leads the Business Case Evaluation process. Performs Business Case Evaluations for capital projects and programs in support of Asset Management practices. Assists and leads project managers in evaluations.Assists in and performs the development and implementation of policies and procedures pursuant to short- and long-term facilities master planning, business continuity, and disaster recovery.Manages the planning, budgeting, design, permitting and construction of facilities, treatment, distribution or other capital improvement and maintenance projects as necessary.Conducts applied research and oversees hydraulic modeling analysis; write technical reports identifying system deficiencies and recommended solutions; conduct investigations, analyses, and evaluations. Develops and monitors project budgets to ensure project delivery within budget.Assists with and performs the application and execution of the Connecticut Department of Public Health’s (CTDPH) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program, including project selection and eligibility, technical and financial submissions, and coordination of on-site inspections and reviews with CT Department of Public Health. Experience/Skills/Abilities:Three or more years of experience in drinking water, wastewater treatment, utility or engineering, or other acceptable experience.Excellent technical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Ability to analyze problems, assesses alternatives, and identify solutions.Not required but preferred:Experience with hydraulic modeling (InfoWater Software) and GIS analysis.
