We are seeking an ERP Business Transformation Lead to work a hybrid schedule in White Plains, NY.
 
Details:
  • Location: White Plains, NY
  • Long-term multi-year contract
  • Pay rate: $75.00hr or more depending on experience
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday hybrid schedule 3 days in White Plain, 2 days’ work from home
 Project Overview:
This leading role will co-partner with EPMO and will support from start to finish the achievement of NYPA’s Next Generation ERP to a new Platform. NextGen Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a complex multi-year program designed to transform and modernize to a new ERP Platform.
Candidate’s role will be ERP transformation leader with expertise in business functions (finance, controllership functional areas, budgets, procurement, billing, human capital) as well as technical expertise in configuration to support business processes. The individual should have the ability to bridge the business readiness capabilities of various functional areas with the systems capabilities to optimize usage of the platform. He/She will lead the initiative with all facets of the organization and, therefore, have a macro view of the business needs yet the ability to deep dive into various areas.
  • Support developing a defined vision and a clear understanding of business needs and customized NextGen ERP strategies.
  • Strong Knowledge of business functions like Finance, Controllership, Budgets, Procurement and Human Capital
  • Support the business units and functions across the Authority to ensure smooth execution of the NextGen ERP deployment roadmap.
  • Assist in determining the role each function and key business partner will play during the digital transformation and develop a strategy to achieve desired business capabilities.
  • Support NextGen ERP activities with business units, business teams and the IT team, ensuring effective communication.
  • Analyze and reengineer business processes to meet audit, financial management, and delivery objectives.
  • Contribute to defining best practices for NextGen ERP Deployment and user training to ensure a consistent and efficient implementation process.
  • Ensuring NextGen ERP software complies with industry regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other IT specialists, data analysts and software engineers, to integrate NextGen ERP systems with other business applications.
  • Identify existing inefficiencies, potential improvement opportunities, and critical differentiating business requirements.
  • Providing recommendations for process improvements and enhancements
  • Maintain and promote communication between project team members and stakeholders and manage expectations.  
  • Good working knowledge of ERP 
Skills:
  • Demonstrated history of working in Business Transformation, ERP, Master Data Management, and Integration.
  • Strong and tested project management skills including stakeholder relationship management, sponsor expectation management, risk management, change Management.
  • Understand data governance, management & quality.
  • Organized, good communicator, deadline driven, team builder, leader, planner, problem solver, and agile.
  • Expertise in data analysis, issue resolution, root-cause analysis, process improvement, and leading teams across lines of business, functional/technical areas.
  • Ability to promote and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment with project team members, co-workers, management, and vendors by behaving, collaborating, and communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills, to ensure open communication across project teams. Ability to handle broad-based, often complex, communication. Ability to diffuse emotionally charged situations and use them to constructively build greater shared commitment to end goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes, analyze decisions and actions for their support of the larger area's strategic direction; and work with senior management to resolve more complex problems.

Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of increasingly responsible experience, including experience successfully managing multiple ERP implementations.
