Quality Control Inspectors are the first line for making sure that we are producing conforming product that meets our customer’s specifications. Inspectors perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspectors inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production including visual, first piece, in-process, and final inspections on plastic and metal precision machined parts. Quality Control Inspectors perform both dimensional and visual inspections and are expected to fill out inspection reports, tags, etc. clearly and correctly.
Quality Inspectors must be highly skilled at reading blueprints, understanding GD&T, have strong mathematical and analytical skills, and be able to communicate findings clearly and in a timely manner to the production floor. The ideal candidate would be experienced in the following:
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with tight tolerances.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and all aspects of GD&T
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and technical skills
  • Skilled in using measuring and inspection equipment to perform setup and in-process measurements and inspections.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
  • Vision Systems, CMM, GD&T, Metrics, Blueprints, and experience with high precision parts.
This position is in a job shop environment, so there will be an opportunity to inspect a variety of parts. Compensation is competitive based on the candidate’s experience, and we offer a competitive benefits package.
 
DETAILS: 
Duration: Direct Hire
Shift: Weekends as needed. 10-hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday
Location: Farmington, CT.
