Benefits Analyst
- Act as a subject matter expert in Benefits and assist our HR Shared Service Center team with complex cases and questions coming in during Open Enrollment
- Explains employee benefits by conducting meetings; preparing written and graphic announcements and explanations; responding to requests.
- Monitors eligibility, limitations, and restrictions of plan participations and ensures compliance with both plan provisions and government requirements
- Coordinates the design and communication of annual benefit enrollment materials and helps put together company-wide communications pertaining to Benefits
- Administers Service Awards, Tuition Reimbursement, and maintains OSHA Logs
- Interface with vendor and benefits broker
- Reporting and auditing
Skills and Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in benefits administration
- Strong communication skills; able to respond and exchange ideas clearly and effectively through writing, speaking, and presentations; shares appropriate information to keep people informed
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel
- Strong analytical skills; ability to work with large sets of data
- Understanding of HR processes, data and HR technology
- Strong project management skills, ability to manage projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) to all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
