Benefits Analyst

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Benefits and assist our HR Shared Service Center team with complex cases and questions coming in during Open Enrollment
  • Explains employee benefits by conducting meetings; preparing written and graphic announcements and explanations; responding to requests.
  • Monitors eligibility, limitations, and restrictions of plan participations and ensures compliance with both plan provisions and government requirements
  • Coordinates the design and communication of annual benefit enrollment materials and helps put together company-wide communications pertaining to Benefits
  • Administers Service Awards, Tuition Reimbursement, and maintains OSHA Logs
  • Interface with vendor and benefits broker
  • Reporting and auditing


Skills and Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in benefits administration
  • Strong communication skills; able to respond and exchange ideas clearly and effectively through writing, speaking, and presentations; shares appropriate information to keep people informed
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to work with large sets of data
  • Understanding of HR processes, data and HR technology
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage projects and shifting priorities
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) to all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
