Castings Technician

We are currently seeking a Sr. Casting Technician in North Haven, CT. As a (an) your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:

• Perform duties relating to operating the melting equipment, to melt, pour and cast a variety of parts using different alloys.
• Caster technicians report to the Caster Lead, and support engineering, quality, and manufacturing as needed.
• Melts metal, pours metal into molds, removes castings from molds, dresses castings, moves foundry materials, and cleans equipment and work areas.
• Moves sand, castings, flasks, or other materials about foundry by hand, using wheelbarrow or cart, or by loading them onto conveyor.
• Assembles flasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma.

3-10 years casting experience.
