We are currently seeking a Director of Finance/HR in Trumbull, CT area.
Summary: This position contributes to the overall success and strategic goals of the company by effectively managing all financial, human resources, and credit functions of the company.
You will be working directly under the President of the company.
Seeking someone who can handle financial and HR aspects.
HR functions –
Administers all Human Resource functions of the company, including but not limited to benefits administration, payroll, hiring, disciplining, and terminating personnel as necessary.
Develop company employee policies, obtaining legal advice as appropriate.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Develops and maintains an accounting system that guarantees the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports that are appropriate, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Maintains the integrity of all accounting functions and systems. Documents and maintains complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
Develops, maintains, and implements companywide internal financial controls.
Develops, implements, and executes directives that ensure compliance with corporate financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Develops and prepares all supporting information and schedules for the annual audit. Prepares audit schedule acting a primary liaison with external auditors to ensure corporate deadlines are met.
Coordinates income tax reporting with independent tax accountant to ensure corporate, state, and federal deadlines are met. Provides all appropriate financial data to ensure accuracy.
Prepares and files all other tax returns and tax prepayments as necessary.
Supervises the personnel and directs the activities of the Accounting and Credit Management Departments. Develops and administers procedures and schedules ensuring system integrity and deadlines are met.
Review and report on the payment performance of our customers (AR) and advise the Management Team relating to any changes in the performance that may affect bad debts or cash flow proposing necessary actions as applicable.
Chief liaison with all banking institutions and banking functions; borrowing, reporting requirements, foreign currency trading, investments, relationship opportunities.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management or equivalent.
5 years’ experience in a financial management position.
5 years’ experience in the accounting field.
5 years’ experience in the human resources field.
Experience of working in a small organization, but in an international environment of a subsidiary office.
Excellent computer and calculator skills.
Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Access
Working knowledge of spreadsheet software
United States GAAP regulations
Credit Management experience
Foreign currency accounting experience
Oracle EBS software experience is a plus
