Electro-Mechanical Assembler II
Employees will execute their job duties in accordance with safety regulations, company policies, and ISO 9001 procedures.
Essential Job Duties:
- Perform a variety of semi-repetitive operations to assemble precision electro-mechanical products where methods and sequence of assembly are described by production planning or detailed written instructions
- Reads connection diagrams
- Work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process
- Assemble fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units
- May perform sub-assembly tests to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Use hand tools and small power tools to assemble units; sets up and adjusts accordingly
- Dripping and tapping skills; familiar with use of squares, levels, and calipers
- May interface with engineering and quality departments
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- May require computer to record work in process
- Read assembly drawings
- Familiar with ESD
- Performs peer inspections
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- HS Diploma
- 1-3 years experience in electro/mechanical assembly
Essential Skills and Attitudes Required:
- English verbal, reading and writing communication skills
Good computer skills in a windows environment, MRP/ERP systems; MS Office
- May work in clean room
