Electronic Technician
Responsibilities:
-
Tracking assemblies to be tested/repaired
-
Cleaning of assemblies to be tested/repaired
-
Disassembly of products to obtain electronic assemblies to be tested/repaired
-
Using schematics or drawings for testing and repair
-
Maintaining a clean and orderly test/repair area
-
Troubleshoots electronics to determine root cause and remedy of any malfunction

Performs required repairs to return units to operational state
-
Set up and test units to meet specified requirements
-
Recognizes failures and set up problems, isolates problems, and takes appropriate action.

Operate power supplies, test jigs and understands their use and function
-
Operates hand tools and small power tools and understands their use and function
-
Document test and repair results in computer database
Job Requirements:
-
Must possess problem solving skills. Strong ability to troubleshoot in a logical manner

Clear verbal and written communication
-
Must have good manual dexterity and soldering skills
-
Must have computer skills
-
Generate failure analysis and problem reports in our system

Must be able to seat or stand for a long period of time
Required experience: 2 – 3 years troubleshooting electronic assemblies
