Engineering Technicians (2)

Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision and general guidelines, assemble, set up tests, adjust and check electro/mechanical systems
• Maintaining a high level of quality workmanship
• Adhere to production schedules and workloads
• Informing next level of management of any problems relating to work in process
• May maintain and repair test equipment
• Maintain test records and production documentation
• Identify and recommend disposition of defective items
• May perform rework, testing and troubleshooting of failed or returned products
• May assemble or test prototypes from blueprints and/or sketches
• May be called upon to assist with the training of new and less experienced Technicians
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area

Essential Qualifications

• Associates in related discipline with greater than four (4) years directly applicable and progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to solder to specified standards
• Ability to operate various types of standard and special test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and calibrators
• Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics and procedures
