We are currently seeking a Field Application Engineer in Wallingford, CT. As a Field Application Engineer, your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of current products and/or new products and solutions in relation to the BU, sales and customers.
  • Provide recommendations by optimizing technical and sales performance for the customer's application and the BU's strategy.
  • Understand and accurately define the customer's functional requirements and their application.
  • Direct the solutions, validate their feasibility and commitment to satisfy the requirement based on the BU's strategy and skills.
  • Define specifications (technical, schedule and cost).
  • Coordinate progress and the response phases, and validate them in relation to the requirement.
  • Report all the information required for the Marketing databases (roadmap, cross references, applications, promotional materials, etc.).
  • Provide support for salespeople in terms of technical presentation and product value.
  • Provide technical support between the BU, sales and customers (presentations, training, etc.).
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion on operational and personnel matters within their unit/functional area. Have authority to waive or deviate from established policies.
  • Existing practices are used as guidelines to determine specific work methods and carries out work activities independently; escalates problems to executive as appropriate.


  • Associate’s degree, or vocational or technical school degree.
  • Entry-Level: 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
