Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Director, coordinates and conducts all aspects of recruitment for assigned departments/positions. Coordinates specific Human Resources projects/activities related to supporting and maintaining a positive organizational work environment.


Coordinates and conducts full cycle recruitment and employment for assigned departments/positions.

Evaluates trends in recruitment and the job market to recommend and execute appropriate recruitment strategies.

Maintains job descriptions for assigned areas; updates as appropriate with the assistance of the department head.

Evaluates internal and external applications, conducts interviews and assessments and collaborates with the hiring manager during the selection process.

Completes all background checks and other compliance checks.

Executes and supports the hospital’s compensation philosophy and system through setting appropriate wages/salaries, job evaluation, and other related activities.

Extends offers of employment and follows up with all related pre-employment activities including: offer letters, employee health physical and drug screening appointments, orientation, etc.

Coordinates and conducts new employee orientation (general hospital orientation) and provides employee training as required.

Ensures accuracy of employee personnel files, electronic and written.

Provides back up reception and secretarial support to the front desk area.

Conducts exit interviews.

Reviews performance appraisals.

Triages employee relations issues and questions as appropriate.

Represents the hospital at job fairs and other community events.

Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree. Previous experience in Human Resources with a demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and selection, employment law and practices. Computer proficiency including MS Word.
