Incoming QC Inspector


Employees will execute their job duties in accordance with safety regulations, company

policies, and ISO 9001 procedures.

Essential Job Duties:

- Perform all inspection of specified incoming parts

- Review for dimensional and structural accuracy on build to print parts, and quality for off-the-

shelf parts

- Inspect and measure materials for conformance to established quality standards

- Write DR’s in a timely manner and enter them into the Quality System, sending them to be acted upon by purchasing or production

- Accurately read blue prints, interpret engineering specs using knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerances

- Process DR’s from production, and other areas, in a timely manner

- Accurately use all standard measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate

measuring machines

- Process and update RMA’s in a timely manner

- Complete required documents and reports through computer data entry

- Identify and communicate quality issues and offer ideas for improvements

- Interact with all company departments as it pertains to any quality issues


- Sales Support:

o notify Sales when RMA has been delivered

o generate RMA folder and documentation, populate Billable RMA quotes and Work Orders, populate Warranty RMA Work Orders

o track RMA evaluation’s in Production

o assist in Customer Complaint investigations


- ISO 9001 support:

o lead internal auditor

o write and review ISO documentation

o assist associate auditors


- Top 25 Supplier performance support:

o perform Source Inspections at Supplier location

o performance data generation, review, and analysis

o post Supplier data on Quality board and send Supplier performance reports to Suppliers, and respond to Supplier performance data inquiries

o issue, track, and close Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR’s)


- Documentation Turn Over Packages (Customer Document Packages)

o Research, find, and print proper Material Certifications, C of C’s, and Inspection Reports for materials and components used in product shipments

o Perform First Article Inspections and fill out Inspection Reports on finished product per Customer PO requirements


Educational and Experience Requirements:

- High School Diploma

- 3-5 years experience
