Learning & Development Specialist
The Learning & Development Specialist facilitates robust and seamless experiences of best-in-class professional learning through management of employee development programs, from initial enrollment, assessing quality of content and user experience, to program execution and ongoing process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Assist with global L&D program design, including recommending and drafting the curricula, descriptions, and learning objectives for learning programs, courses, and credentials
Collaborates with subject matter experts for designing and developing function specific training content/learning paths. May also work to identify external programs, resources and vendors that specifically meet learning & development needs
Support in the consultation of department leaders to assess the learning needs across the business Manage the employee selection, enrollment, and support attendees as they prepare for and complete professional learning programs (in person & virtual).
Manage the supporting resources and documentation for professional learning programs, ranging from calendars to learning materials to completed learning credentials.
Technical facilitation of virtual programs and in-person forums.
Gather and collect feedback through surveys & AARs, considers retention and performance results, and LMS data analytics to analyze effectiveness of training programs and use this information to make informed recommendations.
Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Training, Communications, or related field with 3+ years’ experience
Professional experience designing, developing, planning, delivering, and assessing comprehensive training programs strongly desired
Strong project management skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams Possess outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, presentation & facilitation skills Actively research new technologies and emerging instructional design trends
Familiarity with LMS systems
Strong understanding of data management, analysis and tech tools used to support member learning and engagement
