Key Accountability:
-
Establish and maintain optimal utilization of manufacturing processes, equipment and systems.

Provide first level equipment and floor support to assigned product lines.

Develop tooling and fixtures in support of existing and/or new products.
-
Generate work instructions, process control procedures, operating procedures, and process maps.
-
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to eliminate the waste and non-value added activity in the manufacturing process. .
-
Provide and/or implement continuous improvement ideas and direction for manufacturing and production.

Design plant or process flow layouts to improve productivity.
-
Design Kanban systems and implement throughout entire plant.
-
Design and/or procure assembly tools that incorporate safety and ergonomics to produce a quality assembly process.

Identify cost reduction opportunities.
-
Provide time studies for routings in the JDE system and to form a baseline of existing processes on the plant floor. Assist in the creation/revision of Bills of Material.

Troubleshoot manufacturing, quality, and assembly issues using root cause analysis techniques.

Perform capacity analysis for both CNC machines and final assembly lines.

Must be able to lead cross-functional teams with proven results.
Capabilities:
-
BS in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Must be proficient with MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks
-
Must have experience with tool and fixture design and machinery assembly system design.
-
Experience with assembly automation development and with PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic and LabVIEW is a plus.

Must have good English written and verbal communication skills.
