Operations Support Specialist (OSA)


Essential Job Duties:

Combination of administrative and operations support to ensure business is operating effectively and efficiently

  • Excellent computer skills in a windows environment; MRP/ERP software, MS Office, Excel
  • Assigned to multiple department managers, may change as department needs change
  • Gather departmental information to help identify areas of business that can be improved upon
  • Delegate and/or communicate information to other parties on behalf of assigned department managers
  • Perform daily & long-term calendar management for department managers
  • Responsible for taking, organizing and distributing meeting minutes to team members
  • Identify and appropriate nonessential responsibilities from department managers

Department dependent, may do a mix of the following:

  • Manage the engineering EPI Master schedule daily
  • Support Quality Compliance efforts
  • Support ISO Audit events
  • Liaison to third party IT support groups; manage internal IT Inventory
  • Develop and distribute Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as identified by supporting department
  • managers
  • Book travel & accommodations for internal/external customers
  • Order office supplies
  • Update phone system & website with Employee News regarding delays/closures
  • Maintain Training Matrix new hires names, terminations, training topics
  • Maintain Employee picture board

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Customer Service/Administrative support in a like manufacturing environment
  • 1-3 years’ experience with IT Support
  • 1-3 years’ Office Management experience
