Packaging Technician

The packaging technician is responsible for final assembly of a variety of manufactured products. The packaging technician is a support role for several areas within production. The position requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedure.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED   
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task with efficiency and accuracy
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and accuracy
• Possess basic computer skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Running the automated bagging machine, bagging and boxing various products, assisting in inventory.
• Organizing paperwork, vials and other materials necessary for packaging.
• Operating top labeler/side labeler, and possibly other basic machines if needed. 
• Assisting with inventory and gathering of specific items for packing from work orders.
• Operating top sealers and printers, and possibly other basic machines if needed.
• Assisting in packaging products; general packaging help and assistance.
• Organizing paperwork, vials and other materials necessary for packaging.
• Perform detailed inspections of semi-finished and finished goods to verify conformance to all product specifications.
