Principal Electrical Engineer

Essential Functions:

• Design of high power, high voltage AC/DC systems

• Experience with grid-scale equipment such as Inverters, Transformers, Switch Gear, etc.

• Energy storage and/or batteries system architecture design

• Ability to develop and oversee suppliers, subcontractors and consultants

• Write technical specifications for equipment

• Familiarity with the grid interconnection process

• Experience with relevant regulatory standards such as NEC, UL, CSA, CE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required

• Professional engineer certification desired

• 10+ years of experience with complex electrical system design

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
