- Promote Sales and revenue growth with, but not limited to, Channel Partners in the Northeast Region. This region consists of the following states: ME, VT, NH, RI, MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, MD, DC, VA, WV, DE
- Collaborates with colleagues in to assist and deliver regional results
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned channel partner accounts
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
- Collaborates with Regional Account Manager to achieve revenue goals in the territory, developing relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis
- Sells through channel partner organizations to end-users in coordination with channel partner sales resources and Regional Account Manager (if needed)
- Manages potential channel conflict with other channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
- Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
- Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners
- Proactively recruits new qualifying channel partners
- Enlists the support of technical sales, service and other sales and management resources as needed
- Works closely with Inside Sales, Regional Account Manager, Field Support and Sales Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and any problem resolutions
- Achieve revenue targets for all products within assigned region
- Profile Channel Accounts and understand Brand Purchases and enter data into the Premier Partner Business Plan in CRM (SFDC)
- Produce a weekly Sales Forecast (Commitment) in SF and submit it
- Report communications with accounts (oral or written) into SFDC (Visitor Reports) and ensure the Account profile is up-to-date
- Monitor and report regional market trends and identify new market potentials
- Participate in the design of the regional marketing tools
- Travel within assigned territory as necessary to work with channel partners and end-users to close critical sales efforts (~50% travel)
- Represent the company professionally, ethically and morally at all times
- Achieve technical knowledge and applications on the product lines
- Must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence the territory to achieve quarterly and annual business objectives
- Attend regional trade shows/events to support VPS brands as needed
- Conducts visits to any end-users in the region in order to drive sales of the VPS brands
- Must be able to lift 70-100lbs of equipment and travel with large shipping cases, when needed
