SENIOR BUYER
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting managing the process for Purchasing, Planning, Receiving, Shipping, Stockrooms and Warehouses;
- Issuing purchase orders, handling vendor communications, and placing orders.
- Identify and implement purchased part cost reductions; assuring that actual purchase price performance is in line with purchased price standards;
- Assist in ensuring purchasing department compliance to ISO, company policies and procedures
- Regular interaction with Management, communicating status of milestones and impact of technical hurdles
Requirements:
- 5+ years in Purchasing and Materials planning logistics of Electrical, Optical, and Fabricated components
- 3+ years using ERP systems
- Excellent Project Management and organizational skills
- Ability to interface effectively with multiple departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and databases
- Excellent written and oral skills
