Systems Test Technician

Essential Job Duties:

• Performs a wide variety of highly technical duties to test, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical products at the systems level
• Troubleshoot down to component level
• Collect and interpret test data; perform root cause analysis on failed unit
• Develop and record test documentation
• Perform testing on prototype, existing, or new products to verify they meet safety and design specifications working from specifications, technical manuals, schematics and written/verbal instructions
• Conduct, monitor all Design Verification Testing and reliability tests
• Operate, inspect and test lab electro-mechanical equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other testing devices
• Perform and interpret complex diagnostic test routines to fit a particular problem
• Evaluate/recommend test equipment requirements
• Maintain and ensure all measurement, inspection and test lab equipment is calibrated according to schedule
• Excellent computer skills in a windows environment, MRP/ERP systems; MS Office

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma; technical training
• Associates Degree preferred
• 8+ years experience as a test technician
• 4+ years of vacuum system experience
