We are currently seeking a Procurement Analyst for a client in New Haven, CT but 100% Remote EST. Overview Procurement Analyst will provide executive level and cross-functional support of all financial analysis and reporting needs, assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, audit large spend invoices for accuracy and compliance to the contract, and manage all corporate credit card accounts. Also, acts as a back up to all Buyer's in the event of an absence and during high volume periods. Core Responsibilities Manage and reconcile all corporate credit card accounts, ensuring all proper documentation is in order, proper accounts are charged, and approvals have been obtained. Monitor for fraud or employee misuse and escalate as needed.Support senior management and functional departments with in-depth analysis as required, including but not limited to sourcing projects, budgets, invoices, and contracts; provide ad-hoc analysis to resolve issues and support business decisions.Audit monthly invoices for Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance to the pricing set forth in the contract. Support financial planning and budgeting, ensuring that all financial targets are met, and examining any areas where budgets and expenditure exceed their agreed tolerances. Escalate as needed. Reconciles and researches inquiries that come from the supplier and/or from internal departments. Identifies expense trends and makes recommendations to achieve cost efficiency. Negotiates with vendors and procures routine and complex goods and services required to ensure efficient operations and that the required goods and services are procured in a timely manner that is consistent with internal requirements.
