Perform diversified duties to inspect and test small and very small parts during the manufacturing and machining process. Inspect first piece, in-process and final project for exacting dimensional tolerances and finish requirements and determine conformance to company and customer specifications. As a (an) OIS Cleanroom Inspector your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Responsibilities:Work from semi-complicated specifications and drawings, or other documentation.Ensure product compliance by inspecting product characteristics. Verify proper inspection methods as shown in SAP. Verify shipments match part numbers and requirements of purchase order. Verify correct vendor certifications are supplied.Carry out internal process audits to areas of responsibility. Check parts for count, finish, quality of workmanship, and general appearance.Make final determination if parts meet inspection criteria. Report shortages or defective material/parts to the supervisor by generating various reports and records.Participate and promote continuous quality improvements.Experience with microscope inspection. Position Summary and Special Duties: Seeking an initiative-taking Project Engineer to join our expanding Product Development Team. This OEM customer-facing position is responsible for leading multiple engineering projects, including Customer driven new product development, cost reduction, and quality improvement projects. We are a global leading producer of water filtration products, driven by state-of-the-art technologies and manufacturing in the USA and Singapore. It is our passion to provide innovative technologies and custom-designed filtration systems to the collaborative relationships we form with our customers. We continue to operate one of the world's largest solid-state extrusion facilities to produce activated carbon filters, but also have expanded our technology portfolio to include additional novel filtration media. As a (an) Project Engineer your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Responsibilities:The ideal candidate for this position shall have the ability to:• Successfully manage high volume, custom engineered and OEM customer driven residential water filtration projects.• Directly interface with customers during the product development process• Manage full cycle Product Development deliverables for cross-functional teams.• Oversee / Create customer drawings, specifications, packaging, product labels and retail packing.• Participate in Filtration Technology training sessions.• Identify product improvements utilizing VAVE, executing where applicable.• Support Quality in conducting root cause analysis on returned products and complaints.• Identify / coordinate performance and structural product testing per customer requirements.• Review test data and create Engineering Reports.• Communicate with internal (Sales, Marketing, Quality, Operations, Management) and external (Customers, Vendors) stakeholders. Requirements:• Proficient with the use of Quality, Lean, and Product Development tools (Stage Gate Process)• Experience with high volume plastic injection molded parts• CAD, preferably SolidWorks or Creo Parametric• Extensive knowledge of MS Project• Experience with Epicor a plus. Professional Experience:• 5+ years' experience managing high volume product development projects.• Filtration experience, preferably with water and respective media and vessels a plus.• Regulatory testing, preferably NSF a plus.• Competitive benchmarking and specification development• Customer-facing experience is a high priority• Concise communicator; both written and verbal. The Quality & Safety Manager is responsible for establishing a quality organization to support our mission of being a world-class engineered components solution provider. This position is responsible for defining and driving the site’s enterprise system and quality processes to ensure customer satisfaction and exceeding their expectations. This position is responsible for safety & reporting for Maumee site. As a (an) Quality and Safety Manager your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Responsibilities:Develop and lead an effective quality organization through selection, training, and motivation of all personnel. Develops sufficient talents to obtain short- and long-range goals by effective direction, counseling, and training according to an overall business plan. Ensure pro-active safety improvements and reporting are completed on time & on budget.Develops and recommends quality system / Enterprise System (BES) / continuous improvement objectives; develops specific short-term plans.Champion continuous improvement program and Enterprise System across the Maumee site.
