We are presently on the lookout for a dynamic professional as AOI Operator in Seymour, CT.
Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:
As an AOI Operator, you will be responsible for operating Automated Optical Inspection Equipment and identifying defects on circuit board assemblies. This role demands good attention to detail, effective communication and listening skills, experience with MIS (Aegis) software, knowledge of the AOI machine, and the ability to effectively work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor assistance.
- Performs rework on incomplete or partial assemblies.
- Completes shortage requests, time sheets and work order summary sheets.
- Cleans machines and related work area after each job.
- Works as a member of a team.
- Get along with co-workers.
- Functions under time pressure.
- Accepts change in a positive manner.
- Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment. Work in compliance with , OSHA and SDS safety policies.
Job Qualifications:
- IPC 610 Certification preferred.
- Proficiency with and working knowledge of MIS (Aegis) software is required.
- Component Identification training is required.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the AOI machine.
- Demonstrate the ability to load the proper program, load and run boards and log defects as appropriate.

Duration: 3 months temp to permanent.
Location: Seymour, CT.
Salary: $18-$20/hr.
Shift: 1st
