We invest in excellent working partnerships, powered by people.We are currently seeking a Tool Setter in Watertown, CTPosition Summary and Special Duties:Set-up and operate metal molding, casting or coremaking machines to mold or cast metal or products.Set up die and tools for a variety of preforming and molding presses over a range of 1-750 tons.Selects positions and secures die into machines.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering/customer specifications and work orders to determine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation in accordance with quality documentation.Start press and observe operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.Details:PermanentPayrate $23-29/hrHours: 7-3:30 or 6:30-3pm

We are presently on the lookout for a dynamic professional as Quality Control Technician in Beverly, MA.Position Summary and Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for Quality Assurance Technician –SummaryThis self-motivated individual is responsible for inspection of all products at Motion Industry operations and conducting testing procedures during and after manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards. They perform the following duties personally or through non-supervisory direct reports.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Interprets engineering drawings and diagrams, confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.Dimensionally inspect raw material, finished parts and tooling to drawings, purchase order and applicable documentation using calipers, gauges, and other required tooling.Coordinate compliance with all applicable standards such as ISO 9000, and other applicable customer requirements.Review product and process non-conformance and recommend actions including but not limited to modifications of processes, products or QA standards where warranted. Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.Selects products for testing and inspection at specified stages in the production process for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics.Record results of inspections by part number and department in an inspection log and maintain an inspection data sheet for each lot of material and tooling inspected.Requests changes to QA plans, tolerances, and other required process control procedures to ensure processes, work in progress and finished goods meet the specified quality standards.Conducts receiving inspection and testing as required on purchases.Utilize standard mechanical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs and testing equipment.Process associated documentation including process tags, rework tags and nonconforming material documents.Provide technical expertise and transfer knowledge to other members of the operations.Assist in identifying and conducting operations training endeavors.Communicate daily with all departments.Performs related duties assigned by supervisor.Attend work regularly and predictably and uphold Company values in all work aspects.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
