As a (an) Manufacturing Technician II your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Assembly, testing, repair of Mechanical and electronic equipment. Will provide back up support in areas of order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory. Responsibilities:Pick parts for builds.Act as primary assembler of hydraulic, pneumatic, motorized, and sensitive electronic equipment.Modify or fabricate small parts as needed.Assist in moving large components for product builds.Assist with unpackaging and inspection of incoming shipments,Where necessary, package and label outbound parts and freight, and complete correspondingdocumentation.Provide technical support to customers on the operation and troubleshooting of equipment.Assist in managing inventory of parts used in manufacturing and finished goods.Assist in purchasing inventory parts used in manufacturing.Provide input relating to chronic or unusual problems encountered with the equipment.Document customer service activities using customer database.Ensure inventory control by replenishment; perform cycle counts and discrepancy reconciliation.Ensure complete set of drawings with correct revision numbers and annotated software.Maintain manufacturing records.Document changes in S.O.P.sRepair, install, and inspect electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or writtendirections, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.Repair, install, and inspect mechanical components or mechanical systems as directed throughverbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.Ensures local, state, and national electrical codes are followed and proper materials are usedthroughout electrical systems.Manage and install cables and wiring, splicing as needed.Perform safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions.Report potentially dangerous electrical or mechanical equipment to supervisor and take steps to resolve the issue. DESCRIPTION:Responsibilities: Perform incoming, first piece, in-process, and final inspection of precision machined parts per inspection plan requirements ensuring parts are produced to specification. Daily hands-on, shop floor in-process inspection, performing the production-related requirements of the quality department. Complete necessary inspections utilizing measuring instruments including Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and various hand measuring tools (dial calipers, micrometers, height, thread, and dial bore gages, etc.) Oversee the company’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and compliance. Work closely with the company’s Quality Management Representative to conduct internal audits, procedural conformance, and documentation. Prepare and maintain necessary quality-related forms and records, including Inspection Reports, Defective Material Reports, and Corrective Action Reports. Work with engineering, production, and assembly personnel to resolve quality-related issues. Identify the root cause(s) of part, process, and service non-conformances, where appropriate identify corrective actions. Work with production/manufacturing management and direct labor to support corrective actions to reduce the recurrence of non-conformances, reduce error and improve quality. Seek process improvements and other cost reduction opportunities. Ensure quality of suppliers of finished goods, subcontractors of specialty operations and all outside processing vendors. Authorize part readiness, before parts are moved to outside processing vendors. Manage in-process inspector, providing appropriate training and coaching. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment. Requirements: Hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment. Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing engineering, or related discipline, preferred. Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading machined part engineering drawings, practical understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14.5M-1994 Geometric tolerancing. Prior experience in an ISO 9001:2015 environment preferred. Strong analytical skills, high degree of accuracy and precision. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
