The individual will work directly with assemblers and engineers to determine document content. The documents we would be looking to have them work on would be Primarily Quality Manual Documents: Quality Operating Procedures, Quality Work Instructions, Detailed Operator Work Instructions. They will revise existing documents as well. This job demands an extrovert with high energy, as they will be tracking down managers to verify information throughout our campus. Key Responsibilities: Under general supervision, may develop, write, and edit material for quality manual documents including Quality Operating Procedures, Quality Work Instructions, Detailed Operator Work Instructions.Under general supervision, may observe production, developmental and experimental activities to document operating procedure and detail. Under general supervision, may interview production and engineering personnel to become familiar with product technologies and production methods. This also includes control tasks to ensure that technical documentation is reviewed on time. Work directly with assemblers and manufacturing engineers to determine document content. Obtain illustrations using digital camera, modeling software, and illustration software. Revise existing documents to conform to engineering and process changes. Check your own and peer writer documents for accuracy and completeness. Work with proprietary enterprise data management system to publish or revise documents. Job Qualifications:Strong organizational skills and written communication skillsExperience writing instructional or procedural documentation.Experience or background in manufacturing.Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment. The Project Engineer I works with customers to develop projects incorporating energy efficiency measures to reduce the customers' energy consumption.
