We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist in West Chester, OH. As a (an) CNC Machinist your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Core Responsibilities: Must be able to read, interpret and integrate all processes to ensure consistent, capable parts are manufactured in a production environment.Must have the ability to make all types of required machine/process adjustments, off-sets, tooling, fixturing as well as the ability to set up machines which is required to run accurate first article inspections. Must have the ability to perform and complete first article inspections utilizing all shop gauging including applicable plate work and visual inspection of parts to ensure proper flow of the process. Assist others in parts inspection. Interfaces with Manufacturing Engineering and other functions on processing issues and works as a team to develop a “capable” process to ensure all parts are processed per standards. Takes leadership role in troubleshooting variations in process and assists other machinists and operators in process problem solving to help facilitate a knowledge building and team environment. Must have the ability to meet and exceed targeted production goals. Practices safe work habits, maintains clean working environment, and performs routine preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Team Leader.Must continually build technical skills in area of expertise which is required to aid the facility in meeting Division targets and goals. Learn and adhere to required safety standards and procedures. Knowledge of Lean Principles and 5S. Drives process and lean improvements. Cross-training and other duties as required. Qualifications: Minimum of Four (4) years of machine shop experience. SEG experience preferred. Knowledge of machine shop practices, principles, and operations. Ability to read geometrical/dimensional mechanical drawings; use shop mathematics, handbook formulas, with a high competency in use of precision measuring instruments. High mechanical ability, people skills, willingness to learn, lead, adapt and change with technology. Knowledge of Deep Hole Drill, Super Finish, Manual Lathe, NL3000, Mill turn, Rough Lathe, Finish Lathe, Hone, Rework, Grind, Lathe, Okuma, Nakamura. Intermediate skills and knowledge of Master Cam. High School Diploma or GED required. Possess high integrity and ethical standards. Demonstrates intermediate computer skills. Ability to plan and perform unusual and difficult work processes. Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all level’s employees, customers, and vendors. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. We are currently seeking a Production Operator in West Chester, OH As a (an) Production Operator your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Perform bench work to bring complex parts with tight tolerance to customer specifications by sawing, sanding with hand tools and machinery, and adjusting parts, as needed, prior to inspection. Drill, rivet and assemble parts to close tolerance, utilize measuring devices to gauge and measure proper specifications and conformity of manufactured parts, as well as, determine necessary steps to correct any non-conformance parts processed. Work with engineers, managers and quality personnel to resolve problems and ensure conformance parts. Use and interpret complicated prints, drawings and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts, as well as, complete and sign work orders identifying the operations performed. Mix alloy and apply alloy powder/paste to parts as required. Learn and adhere to required safety standards and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Project Overview:The Project Engineer I supports the Customer Project Delivery department in achieving the Business Unit's goals to improve energy efficiency and stimulate new energy technologies in New York State through the implementation of physical projects. The Project Engineer I works with customers to develop projects incorporating energy efficiency measures to reduce the customers' energy consumption. Job Functions & Responsibilities:Represent company at customer meetings, design meetings, contractor walk through, and presentations to customers. Prepare engineering calculations, estimates, and cost analyses for feasibility/audit reports. Manage and implement multiple lighting, HVAC, controls, wastewater treatment, and building envelope energy conservation projects and new project development concurrently. Project responsibility can range from 10-15 projects depending on scope. Develop customer installation commitment documents including cost recovery agreements requiring the development of economic analyses and engineering specifications. Evaluate all change order claims and payment invoices, while working as a team member with other engineers inside and outside of company to develop the most cost-effective project designs. Coordinate activities between contractors / consultants / equipment vendors / customers to provide project construction quality assurance in adherence to project specifications and compliance to state and local codes. Comply and enforce the compliance of hazardous material handling, safety and environmental procedures. Keep abreast of the latest technological developments, products and revisions to the NYPA project input parameters (electric Production and Delivery rates, Interest During Construction (IDC), financing term, discount rate, Gross Receipt Taxes (GRT), Contracts, Environmental and Bond Counsel). SkillsStrong knowledge of building mechanical/electrical systems and related codes is required. Technical knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines. Strong background and experience interacting and liaising with engineering consultants and labor contractors. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute and complete multiple projects from start to finish on time and within budget with minimal direction and support from supervisors.
