We invest in excellent working partnerships, powered by people.We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Washington, DC 20018Position Summary and Special Duties:As a (an) Quality Control Inspector your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:Responsibilities:Performs Quality Control (QC) inspection on parts and sub-assemblies of rail cars. Performs visual inspection of parts and equipment to ensure conformance to quality standards and to identify non-conformance where it occurs.Performs all work according to engineering drawings, written work procedures, and verbal and written instructions.Uses scales, tape, calipers, micrometer, combination-square and other measuring equipment to inspect parts, equipment, and their proper installation to rail car body. Has the capability of using English and Metric systems of measurement.Records data and findings from inspections in inspection reports and related documentation with a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail. Demonstrates an excellent mechanical aptitude.The QC Inspector must be able to read and interpret all engineering drawings and blueprints, and has a demonstrated proficiency in all inspection phases listed below. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a must skill to have for the below position Project Overview:The Financial Controls and Accrual Analyst provides support in the areas of cost accounting, financial analyses and reporting, and internal controls. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Dashboards Job Functions and Responsibilities:Prepare and post monthly accruals journal entries, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses and revenue to the appropriate periods.Provide essential assistance in the preparation of the Quarterly Financial presentation and consolidated financial package, contributing to accurate and insightful reporting.Collaborate in the production of the Monthly Financial Package, ensuring timely delivery of accurate financial information to internal stakeholders.Review project invoices and approvals to ensure correct SAP purchase order number, account assignment, dollar value, approval levels, verify available funding, and backup documentation.Coordinate project reconciliation process with Engineers based on construction completion milestones. Project Overview:The Financial Systems Analyst (FSA) helps Business Services division under Chief Financial Officer bridge gaps between technology and business processes, enabling leadership to make informed business decisions which contribute to maintaining its competitive margin and financial integrity in the ever-evolving electric utility industry.The FSA is directly responsible for the development and maintenance of financial systems utilized within Finance, and is a strategic partner for the team, which includes Financial Planning and Analysis, Revenue Pricing and Analysis, Budgets, Accounting, and Treasury.The FSA assists software package users in day-to-day activities, including but not limited to data loads, maintenance, data extraction, maintenance of the existing systems, and development of new reporting packages.The FSA analyses and researches existing processes that are configured outside of the structured software platform, documents processes, proposes and assists in the implementation efforts of solutions within the financial software platforms.Assist with design and maintenance of automated financial tools and systems to ensure quality information and reports are produced and delivered to senior management on a timely basis.
