The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for monitoring the overall process to assure that product exiting the process is correct. Monitoring includes mechanical and visual inspection of precision parts for dimensional and visual compliance to established procedures.


Essential Functions
• Analysis and QC inspection on returned parts from customers including:
o Determining if nonconformity claimed by customer is present as described
o Specific mechanical and/or electronic test, dimensional and visual inspection
o Communicate with Sales Department for priorities and analysis/measurement results
o Communicate with Customer for clarifications
o Generate and follow-up N/C (DR) reports
• Perform other responsibilities as required

Competencies
• Electro-mechanical inspection experience preferred to include;
o Electronics troubleshooting
o Electric motors, actuators encoders
o Servo drives
o Mechanical Assembly and repair
• Knowledge of specific QC mechanical and electronic tools
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Working knowledge of GD&T (read and interpret)
• Must be able to multi-task without losing track of details
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office)
