We are presently on the lookout for a dynamic professional as AOI Operator in Seymour, CT.Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:As an AOI Operator, you will be responsible for operating Automated Optical Inspection Equipment and identifying defects on circuit board assemblies. This role demands good attention to detail, effective communication and listening skills, experience with MIS (Aegis) software, knowledge of the AOI machine, and the ability to effectively work in a team environment. Key Responsibilities: Ability to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor assistance. Performs rework on incomplete or partial assemblies. Completes shortage requests, time sheets and work order summary sheets. Cleans machines and related work area after each job. Works as a member of a team. Get along with co-workers. Functions under time pressure. Accepts change in a positive manner.Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment. Work in compliance with , OSHA and SDS safety policies. Job Qualifications:IPC 610 Certification preferred. Proficiency with and working knowledge of MIS (Aegis) software is required. Component Identification training is required. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the AOI machine.Demonstrate the ability to load the proper program, load and run boards and log defects as appropriate. Works in conjunction with group leader, setup person, and parts coordinator in the setup and running of jobs on machines as directed by the supervisor. Operator can perform complex assembly tasks with little supervision using assembly instructions with high accuracy and high speed, including:Perform daily maintenance on the machines.Setup/tear down the screen printer, load stencil, monitor paste.Setup pick and place feeders, load programs into the machine, perform minor editing functions.Demonstrate a working knowledge of Fuji-tracks. Analyze and interpret management data from Fuji-tracks. Demonstrate working knowledge of screen printer, paste inspection, pick, and place, and reflow oven. Recall proper oven profile. Manage inventory for projects which run in SMT. 1-5 years of industry experience or equivalent. IPC 610 Certification preferred. Hand placement of difficult parts. Capable of training and supervising others. The Individual will manage the reporting of operational statistics gathered by manufacturing leaders and perform some high-level analysis of those results. In addition, the individual will be the chief administrator of the Talent Management System (TMS). The individual will aid in the maintenance of talent records for individuals. They will also maintain the integrity of the updated Area Work Instructions and Quality Work Instructions as managers update the documentation. Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a candidate who is highly proficient in utilizing various computer programs and possesses a strong aptitude for technology. Product weekly statistics on job completion times as compared to estimated times. Work with manufacturing managers and supervisors to understand product schedules and completion criteria. Track utilization and up-time of key hardware on the manufacturing floor. Partner with the VP of Quality to maintain the integrity of the TMS system as new processes are documented. Manage the workflow of training records which pass between individuals, managers and TMS coordinators. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new software applications, with the ability to independently navigate and utilize unfamiliar programs efficiently. They should exhibit a keen problem-solving ability, enabling them to quickly adapt to new environments and effectively troubleshoot technical challenges as they arise. Job Qualifications:High School diploma required. Associates degree or bachelor’s degree preferred. 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in manufacturing. The individual will work directly with assemblers and engineers to determine document content. The documents we would be looking to have them work on would be Primarily Quality Manual Documents: Quality Operating Procedures, Quality Work Instructions, Detailed Operator Work Instructions. They will revise existing documents as well. This job demands an extrovert with high energy, as they will be tracking down managers to verify information throughout our campus. Key Responsibilities: Under general supervision, may develop, write, and edit material for quality manual documents including Quality Operating Procedures, Quality Work Instructions, Detailed Operator Work Instructions.Under general supervision, may observe production, developmental and experimental activities to document operating procedure and detail. Under general supervision, may interview production and engineering personnel to become familiar with product technologies and production methods. This also includes control tasks to ensure that technical documentation is reviewed on time. Work directly with assemblers and manufacturing engineers to determine document content. Obtain illustrations using digital camera, modeling software, and illustration software. Revise existing documents to conform to engineering and process changes. Check your own and peer writer documents for accuracy and completeness. Work with proprietary enterprise data management system to publish or revise documents. Job Qualifications:Strong organizational skills and written communication skillsExperience writing instructional or procedural documentation.Experience or background in manufacturing.Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment.
