We are currently seeking a Production Operator in West Chester, OH As a (an) Production Operator your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Perform bench work to bring complex parts with tight tolerance to customer specifications by sawing, sanding with hand tools and machinery, and adjusting parts, as needed, prior to inspection. Drill, rivet and assemble parts to close tolerance, utilize measuring devices to gauge and measure proper specifications and conformity of manufactured parts, as well as, determine necessary steps to correct any non-conformance parts processed. Work with engineers, managers and quality personnel to resolve problems and ensure conformance parts. Use and interpret complicated prints, drawings and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts, as well as, complete and sign work orders identifying the operations performed. Mix alloy and apply alloy powder/paste to parts as required. Learn and adhere to required safety standards and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: One to Two years of manufacturing background, preferably in Aerospace assembly.Ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures while following direction and completing assignments accurately and on time. Proficient computer systems skills. Ability to operate Band Saw, Drill Grinders, Drill Press, Belt Sanders, Fiber Wheels, Orbital Sander, Riveters, Brake Press. Project OverviewThe Associate Project Engineer supports the Customer Project Delivery department in achieving the Business Unit's goals to improve energy efficiency and stimulate new energy technologies in New York State through the implementation of physical projects. The Associate Project Engineer works with customers to develop projects incorporating energy efficiency measures to reduce the customers' energy consumption. Job Functions & ResponsibilitiesRepresent company at customer meetings, design meetings, contractor walk through, and presentations to customers. Review engineering calculations, estimates, and cost analyses for feasibility/audit reports. Manage and implement multiple lighting, HVAC, controls, wastewater treatment, and building envelope energy conservation projects and new project development concurrently. Project responsibility can range from 5-10 projects depending on scope.Develop customer installation commitment documents including cost recovery agreements requiring the development of economic analyses and engineering specifications. Evaluate all change order claims and payment invoices, while working as a team member with other engineers inside and outside of the company to develop the most cost-effective project designs. Coordinate activities between contractors / consultants / equipment vendors / customers to provide project construction quality assurance in adherence to project specifications and compliance to state and local codes. Comply and enforce the compliance of hazardous material handling, safety and environmental procedures. Keep abreast of the latest technological developments, products and revisions to the company project input parameters (electric Production and Delivery rates, Interest During Construction (IDC), financing term, discount rate, Gross Receipt Taxes (GRT), Contracts, Environmental and Bond Counsel).SkillsKnowledge of building mechanical/electrical systems and related codes is required.
