Assembler/Solderer
Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly work installing a variety of mechanical and electrical components following established procedures in assembly operations
- Read and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts list, sketches, written and verbal instructions
- Performing tasks in a timely manner which meets or exceeds time standards
- Work to production schedules and timelines
- Maintaining a high level of quality and workmanship standard on all work performed
- Perform board stuffing, both through-hole or surface mount and the masking and conformal coating of boards
- Maintaining a clean working area
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years related assembly experience with ability to demonstrate proficiency in most related tasks
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity required
- Ability to solder to required specifications
- Knowledge of basic assembly and electromechanical assembly functions
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a production environment
- Ability to read and understand (in English) blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings and written procedures.
- Strong communication.
- Ability to operate machinery such as a pick and place machine, soldering iron, power screwdrivers and various hand tools
- J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 Solder Certifications
- Preferably Mil-Spec Class 3 experience
- Must be a US Citizen
