Customer Service Representative


This individual will be responsible for acting as a liaison between our company and our customers.  You will assist with orders, quotes, account questions, billing, cancellations and other customer queries.


  • Generate internal quotation packages for submittal to manufacturing and sales departments for product pricing and lead time.
  • Work directly with customers to provide quotations, process orders and send order acknowledgements.
  • Enter order information and maintain customer database in Microsoft Great Plains ERP System.
  • Obtain customer information required for order placement, refunds or exchanges.
  • Field customer inquiries and forward to appropriate department.
  • Assist Sales Manager with quoting and sampling activity.
  • Manage internal quote database.
  • Follow up with customers for order placement.


  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have a pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Strong attention to details, accuracy, dependability and responsiveness.
  • Have excellent phone skills and computer proficiency.
  • Be well organized, possess the ability to multitask, and be able to work with minimal supervision and from verbal instructions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a plus.
  • Associates degree or 3 years minimum experience in a customer service environment.
