Customer Service Representative
This individual will be responsible for acting as a liaison between our company and our customers. You will assist with orders, quotes, account questions, billing, cancellations and other customer queries.
Responsibilities:
- Generate internal quotation packages for submittal to manufacturing and sales departments for product pricing and lead time.
- Work directly with customers to provide quotations, process orders and send order acknowledgements.
- Enter order information and maintain customer database in Microsoft Great Plains ERP System.
- Obtain customer information required for order placement, refunds or exchanges.
- Field customer inquiries and forward to appropriate department.
- Assist Sales Manager with quoting and sampling activity.
- Manage internal quote database.
- Follow up with customers for order placement.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Have a pleasant and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to details, accuracy, dependability and responsiveness.
- Have excellent phone skills and computer proficiency.
- Be well organized, possess the ability to multitask, and be able to work with minimal supervision and from verbal instructions.
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a plus.
- Associates degree or 3 years minimum experience in a customer service environment.
