We are currently seeking a Wastewater Treatment Mechanic in Meriden, CT. for a client

Position Summary and Special Duties:

As a (an) your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:

Responsible for operating and maintaining a brand-new Wastewater Treatment system for a client.  No license is required.

Performs skilled work in the operations, maintenance, and repair of the Wastewater
Treatment process and instrumentation, including but not limited to, electric motors and controls, pumps, pipes, and valves of Wastewater Treatment Plant. Inspects and maintains pump stations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: High school graduation or completion of vocational program in water, wastewater, plumbing, electrical or mechanical repair preferred. Two (2) years of wastewater treatment plant operation experience preferred. (Applicants with this experience given preference.) Bachelors or Associates degree
highly preferred.

Duration: 6 months temp to hire.

Location: Meriden, CT.

Salary: $20hr-25Hr.
